Like the title says, you can now buy a used Republic wireless moto x or g and get service with the carrier. Or if your service is subpar and want to leave you can sell your phone now and actually get some money for it. Just am FYI

I like the idea of republic wireless but I'm not really keen on having 4.2.2 to be honest. We do need companies like Motorola and Republic Wireless though. The business model of cellular companies in the us needs to change

Well they had three goals to accomplish in the 1st quarter of 2014. Launch moto g, enable reactivation and upgrade the moto x to Kitkat. Looking at the track record I'm sure it will before the end of 2nd quarter 2014.

Oh yeah I have no doubt about that. My point was just that other carriers have had KitKat for months.

If republic wireless can get updates out quicker they can really start to transform the wireless industry in this country, and that's something that is very needed.
