I understand the purpose of safe mode is to startup the phone with minimal apps for troubleshooting purposes.

I'd like to know why it is that when I return to normal mode, that certain applications have been logged out.

For example, Twitter is one app that requires me to log back in after coming out of safe mode. There are a few other apps, but I haven't checked them all.

Just a question. What did you do while in safe mode? If you cleared some cache or made adjustments you could have cleared the saved log on

Hmm, may be that the twitter app tries to access the login oauth credentials on startup, gets blocked so wipes them?

Just a guess...

Many sites use the session timeout to log you out, so while you were in safe mode the session expired.

I've been having issues with the sound not working, so I started the phone in safe mode and opened YouTube. After that, I restarted the phone in normal mode.

Twitter and EBay both logged me out in while in safe mode.
