Hi,

Can anyone tell me how I enable some sort of notification so I can tell when I have a voice mail message waiting? I have installed the "A better Voice Mail Notifier" app, but it does not appear to be working and there is no LED on the display to blink at me.

There is the small "voice mail" icon at the top of the screen, when I have the screen on, but I would like some way to know that I have voice mail where I do not have to turn on the screen.

I don't know if it is related, but I just upgraded the operating system to 5.1.

Thanks for any help.

You can go into the Moto app/tools/display and check off the voicemail box. Now you'll be notified with the screen off with the notification icon when you have a VM. You can check off other apps for notifications that you want as well.

Thanks! I will try that. I also heard back from the creator of "A Better Voicemail Notifier" app who said that Visual Voicemail might be interfering with the operation of his app.
