Hi all. Newbe here. I want to root my nexus s 4g and do whatever fix is needed to restore the tether abilties on the phone for access to my laptop. Am having information overload and want to "root" through all the information.
I understand I need to back up everything first. Do I have to back up the ROM or can that only be done after root? I have found 1 click root but then seen other information saying to do it the long or indirect rout. Any advise as to the prefered method. My only real goal is to restore tethering.
