I'll be 60 next month, I live in Eastern Canada, I have already owned a cell phone, but nothing really smart (well, 2 actually, but I sold the first for $20).
First I was looking for a BlackBerry (and still would if R.I.M. was not so close to kicking the bucket), but short of that, Android is the best bet for a smartphone that will let me communicate trustily.
At the moment I aim for a Nexus, because the S III is too damn expensive and there are too many things on a new technology that can go wrong. Better safe than sorry.
