Nexus 5X wont Start

My Nexus 5X 32GB phone wont start, not even screen light up.

Yesterday I was able to boot in recovery mode. But after that I am not able to start the phone, not even screen light up.

Not sure if the phone is charging. Any help is highly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! So you were already having problems before this? Is that why you had to boot into Recovery Mode yesterday? If so, it may have been a sign of impending hardware failure.

Let it charge on a wall outlet for at least 6 hours, then press and hold Power for at least 20-30 seconds to see if anything happens. If not, then try a different charger and cable, and go through the same process. If nothing happens, either the battery or something on the motherboard is faulty -- you'd have to bring it to a repair shop either way.
