Anyone use Marshmallow's backup/restore feature? Does it work like its supposed to?

For me, I think its inevitable that a factory reset will take place sometime in the life of this phone. I understand that Marshmallow has a more extensive backup/restore capability. For those of you that had factory reset your phones, does the restore feature actually put your phone back together with all of the apps and their settings?

Here is a list of what is restored:

Wallpaper
App placement
App data (you can go to Google Drive-> settings-> manage backup to see what apps are backing up data) Some gaming apps like Real Racing have their own cloud based backup system for cross platform/device syncing
System settings
Photos (as long as you at least opened the app once and opted in to backup)
Contacts (you can go to contacts.google.com to verify)
