I wish that was the case but I looked on both the internal and external storage and no system folder...I checked if system folders were hidden in explorer but it's checked to show.

One thing to remember about nandroids.
If you use a ROM with ext support or LINK2SD, then that nandroids apps will only show if the ext format on the SD card is the same.
Something to think about if contemplating changing the format of the partition.

I've seen several comments that the Developer Option just forces GPU rendering on supported OpenGL apps ?
I cannot speak to the truth of that however.

But the EGL patch outright removes the software rendering pathway entirely ;)

For the most part ICS is using hwa, and hardware rendering on the UI anyway, right? That's probably why it doesn't make much of a difference on ICS with the UI and maybe that's why it would seem different with apps. For GB entirely disabling CPU rendering feels glorious, I guess it's because before it would focus on using CPU rendering and only GPU when it was needed (maybe when playing 3D games it would be used)? I could be wrong, ICS is more optimized than GB so I wouldn't be surprised if this explains how things are working here.
