is there anyway to downgrade from android version 4.1.2 back to the origanal stock version?

I am just wandering if there is anyway to downgrade android version because my phone is painfully slow and crap on this android version, if there is anyway you know could you help me by explaining it or linking me to a video on how to downgrade.
