I've been back and forth between Sprint and Samsung trying to activate.... Samsung says it's sprints fault. Sprint says phone is ineligible and IMEI is invalid and not unlocked yet. Samsung says everything is ok on their end and Sprint should be able to activate 2 hours later I'm here and couldn't handle being in the phone any longer....

Sprint most certainly does have a SIM card. If you bought the unlocked version from Samsung, you have to contact Sprint Worldwide and have them send you a SIM card. I had to follow those steps for my unlocked Note 9. When you get a SIM card and install it then the phone will have a valid IMEI. Unless you find the correct SIM card at a local store. I could not.

For what it's worth, I was able to activate my unlocked Note10+ on Sprint without any issues. I called multiple Sprint stores until I got someone who knew exactly what SIM card I needed (SIMOLW416TQ/SKU: 854798005224). After I got the correct SIM, the online activation process went smoothly. I waited about 15 minutes after I received an email from Sprint verifying the activation and everything was fine after that.

Since I was replacing a Note8, I chose the Activate menu option on the website and chose the "Did you recently upgrade your device" option.

Good luck to you all...hope that helps.

That crazy Sprint's customer service and support sucks they may be an issue with those HEMI that were issued from SAMSUNG and and I'm a little confused I've been on Sprint for about 16 years and you still need a SIM card for that phone to to work on Sprint network

Did you have to go to the store to get the sim card?

This may sound funny but I bet you its because it isnt release date yet. I had an unlocked note 8 and if I remember right, they couldnt get it to work until the release date

Update: My unlocked Note 10+ is now in Sprint's system, and the required SIM card is SIMOLW516TQ.

I haven't been able to activate my unlocked Note 10+. I have chatted with Megan on Sprint's online chat, then Megan transferred me to a Sprint Care Specialist, and, in the end, the Sprint Care Specialist told me to go to a Sprint store. I did as I was instructed, and I went to a Sprint store. None of the Sprint store reps could get my unlocked Note 10+ activated. A Sprint store rep even called into corporate Sprint. Corporate Sprint told the Sprint store employee that I have to contact Samsung. I am not alone. There are others on community.sprint.com who are having the same activation issues.

Having the same problem I even had Sprint overnight me a Sim card to arrive when the phone came and still the same problem. Called Samsung they said bc it's not released untill the 23rd which I find odd bc other people have it activated
My co worker just swapped his Sim and it activated no problem with Verizon.... I'm really disappointed

No, the problem here is no SIM card. The unlocked phones don't ship with one.

Both my unlocked note 10+'s came with a new sim card. When placing order on Samsung for the unlocked, it had asked which carrier.
Didn't use either one. We just put in the sim card from the current phone.
Just an FYI we're on Verizon.
