favorites in Contacts app

Upgraded from S10+ to Note 20 Ultra, on Verizon. Used the wireless transfer to set up the Note.

My Note "contacts" app lists all of the Recently Added contacts at the top. Yeah, I just imported my whole contacts list. How do I get my Favorites back to the top of the list?

They should automatically go to the top , try clear data then force stop the contact app

No luck. I have a complete list of my contacts as Recently Added and below that is my Favorites and then below that all my contacts again.

Try restore just contacts once more something might got corrupt or glitched.

Ok, found the solution, on here oddly enough.

Open the Contacts app. Touch and hold on the first Recently Added name. It will put a checkmark next to that name. Then simply go through and select all of the Recently Added contacts and at the bottom, select delete.
