Contacts getting unfavorited

Hey! I had a question about something that's going on with my contacts. You can favorite contacts so they stay at the top or make it through do not disturb mode. Recently randomly, contacts are getting unfavorited. Like I've had to re-add my mom to my favorites list like three times or people from work get unfavorited randomly. Is there something I can do about that?

Are these contacts saved to your Google Contacts in the cloud, or are they only locally saved to the Phone account? Which phone do you have?

It's a galaxy s22 ultra. I'm pretty sure o have them saved both ways just in case.

If you go to contacts.google.com on your computer browser, do you notice the contacts are no longer starred there either?

I hadn't checked there before re-adding them to be honest with you

When you open the contact apps what do you have as main under contacts I'll show a screenshot ? Because if you switch between phone/email/Esim etc... they will have different favorites, at least mine does.
