Is there a way to prevent the screen from going on when receiving a new message with the stock text

Wondering because I like making sure it stays off when on silent. This is a nice feature to have and works well on other text apps.

There's the blocking mode that may be customizable to keep the screen from coming on. I turn it on when it's bedtime though.
