galaxy gear battery drain

Does the galaxy gear drain the note 3 battery and what is saproviders its taking up my battery over night like mad

Dont know about the other but ive noticed that when I use my Galaxy Gear the battery does drain faster. Im guessing its because its connected via bluetooth. Also the watch face you use can dictate how much battery life is used too.

Over night my battery drains 4% in a span of 7-8 hours; it's connected to my gear the entire time. Basically no, it doesn't drain battery, and if it does, it's so miniscule that it's negligible

Ive just woke up my batter last night was on 86% now its on 49 i tirned of blue tooth but its saying saproviders took 17%

I have this problem after hear Manager update to 1.7.052101. Before update no problems at all. See if you are on that update. If not I would recommend to wait. Saproviders is second most battery drain after last update.

I just reverted back to the previous 1.6 version of gear Manager.

If interested delete your gear Manager app and then go to
https://www.mediafire.com/folder/e7h23e12rzesi/Gear_Manager#p65gtgol7135e

And download 1.6 version.

I downloaded the recent upgrade on my gear 2 and the battery life significantly reduced from 3 days to <24 hours! I switched off bluetooth and somehow it improved to 1.5 days. Something with the latest upgrade is causing my Note 2 to constantly ping the gear2 watch.<

Fixed the battery problem by deleting and reinstalling google account. Apparently there is a conflict with the gmail phone book causing the contact sync to take forever thus draining the battery.

Hi,
I have battery drain problem on my gear 2, even thought my galaxy note 3 is fine, the gear only lasts 8 to 10 hours with bluetooth always on and most notifications on.

After reinstalling all my contacts, my gear 2 is eating up 1.5% every hour so that should give me ~3 days worth of battery life for each full charge.
