But it hurts Galaxy S5 sales. That's why it makes no sense. Economically it does not and logically it does not. There is no reason for it to exist. I can't think of a solid one.

Aluminium, as we say here, is one type of metal. Not sure what the M8 and S5 Prime are made of.

And? I see no reason for them to do it. Even from a tech geeks perspective besides the metal design what's so different? That's what's so mind boggling to me. Nothing is really "oh man, that is way better than the S5".
