Playing Music Via USB?

So I have a Blu-Ray/surround sound combo that has a USB input in front. I can hook my ipod up, and I'll get an option to play music from it. If I connect my Note 4, the phone notifies me that it is connected as a media device, but it never shows up on the surround sound interface. Anyone know of a way to make this happen?

iDevices can show as mp3 players (their interface connector has enough pins to do anything). Android phones generally can't. Your input is probably looking for an mp3-player-like device.
