Note 4 power on by itself

I unplugged it from the charger and it turned on its own a few seconds after. To make sure I didn't just press the power button on accident I shut it off and it powered on again. I even made sure to hit "Power off" not "Restart" and tried this a few times until I decided to just keep it on. Maybe 5 minutes after I turned it off again, but it didn't restart. I'm hoping it was only running an update and it's not a malfunction with my phone. Has anyone else experienced this?

It can happen if the power switch is intermittent.

Does that mean i should get that fixed with my carrier or is that just normal?
