Hi guys.

A month ago i bought a brand new Note 4 in Shanghai. It works great and i love.I checked the IMEI,and its the real deal, not fake.

The problem is the battery never reaches 100%.Actually,from the day i bought it,the maxium percentage it gets to only gets lower and lower!!

At first it was 80,then 70,and now barely 60...what the hell is going on?

I went to the seller a few days after the original purchase, and after we kept on changing batteries he finally gave me another device, which i own now,and the problem is still the same.I discharged it a couple of times.nothing.

Maybe its the battery? i dont think so
.THE DEVICE IS ROOTED.,so it won't block the carriers in my country.
Can this be the problem maybe?

would love to hear some good advices before i go and buy a new battery.

Thank you!
Jonathan.

Do you have the original fast charging cable? Check to make sure all of these I list below arent a factor:
1. The cable is broken.
2. Its not a strong enough charge.
3. Make sure its charging as AC and not USB.
4. Make sure it says its fast charging.
If all above is okay then its the battery.

Who rooted the phone?
If you are convinced the phone is legit, I have nothing.
BUT, if not...is it possible you have a duplicate IMEI of a legit phone?
It's also a possibility the battery isn't legitimate and cannot read the battery life of it. Maybe the battery life being represented is accurate and the battery is garbage.
Just throwing some things out there to consider.
Did you get a really good deal on it? That would be a tip-off as well.

Hi guys and thanks for the respones.

Everything is ok with the cable and such, and im sure the phone is original-i checked the thread in this forum about how to spot a fake.

The phone basically came from hong-kong,so it was rooted there i guess.

i will try to buy a new bettary.

I can say i had the same problem happen once or twice. It would only charge to 92% and I had to pull the battery out and it resolved itself. I think it has to do with the pins on the battery and the phone, not sure but it was annoying.
