Does anybody know if the USB-C cable from the Note 7 will work with Samsung Note 4 USB fast Charger Block?
I do not need that because the phone is already USB-C. The other end should be able to plug into the computer and the fast charging block no problem. Just wondering if it would cause any issues. This might not be exactly what you are asking, but I have already ordered these so that I can continue to use all my extra chargers

If that's the official charger, looks like Quick Charge. Not sure about the 2.0 vs 3.0.Maybe this picture might help?

The one in the picture charges at those rates but also charges at 12V/2.1A.
It's probably based on 3.0.
Thanks. I was thinking of picking that one up if we get confirmation on Quick Charge 3.0.Thanks! Good info.
p.s. A bit off topic, but if this type of charging is actually what it will be, I received a very nice portable Quick Charge 3.0 charger the other day. It's 10,000Mah and really small, somehow. About 1/2 the size of my other 10,000Mah chargers. I love it. It is backwards compatible with QC 2.0 too.

I suppose my interest is theoretical, since I just ordered new Note 4 batteries, but I do like to keep up. Will this support the same fast charging speed? And I noted this:
"This adapter is not compatible with Micro-USB OTG adapters."
Maybe this picture might help?

I think the question now is if that is officially confirmed as the official Note 7 charging brick.Looking at that picture it's 2.0. Quick Charge 3.0 offers a more granular range of voltages: 200mV increments, from 3.6V to 20V
