Anybody notice that the Note 7 Don't have a Mail app.

It only has a Gmail app.

The S7E has a Email app that I have on my Wifes phone setup as Yahoo mail.
And on the Gmail app I have a gmail account setup.

What happened ?

Thanks.

I like that.
Things has changed up on the note.
I like the Application settings.
When you go to setting and look at the Apps it tells under them what the app does.

The gmail email is in the Google folder.
This app normally is on the front page.
It wasn't there.
It was in the Samsung folder on the Note 7.

Has anyone tried Exchange account with Gmail app? I got a new job and thinking which one is better for Exchange work account between gmail and Samsung email app. I also wonder which is one is more battery efficient for exchange.

I've never had to go in the Samsung folder to find it.
And your Samsung email app with the @ in it.
Mine don't have the @ in it.
So wonder if this has something to do with the carrier.
I may have placed it in the Samsung folder on my own. Can't remember, but it's likely I did. It has a different icon because I changed to a Material design theme.

Try the Nine Exchange email app in the Play Store. Works great and updated consistently.

Mine was in the Samsung folder.
It didn't look like a regular emails app.

It also works a little different than the gmail email which I like.
