Will Samsung bring back the classic S Note?

Do you think Samsung will ever bring back the classic SNote like we had before the Note 8? I'm using a apk file that someone put up on YouTube. I didn't like what they did to the SNotes on the Note 8.

I've despised Samsung Notes since the N7. There are tons of reviews in the Google Play store as well as in the Galaxy Apps store telling Samsung how it bad it is in comparison to S Note, begging them to bring S Note back. No idea why Samsung is so damned stubborn about this.

BUT, so far we've been able to sideload the necessary .apk's for the original S Note, as explained in the following four links (except for two of its features - Easy Chart and Photo Note). Fingers crossed that this works on the N9 too.

(Have to get around to going to a VZW store to try to install it!)

TBH, I don't think S Note will come back. I wish it did. I don't like the new Samsung Notes. As far as action memo, this is the closest you'll get for now.

Although it doesn't work totally the same, I've actually gotten used to it. I do miss the original Action Memo, but it's gone so... All we have now are the phone# and email link to action. The rest is close.

I would be fine with Samsung Notes if they implemented S Note capabilities (not just some of them). I want to be able to do things like add picture on picture and write/draw where ever I want. Samsung Notes takes you to a separate drawing sections if you want to draw and adding pictures creates a picture scrolling thing. S Notes also had templates (although they were better in earlier versions).

Someone also made an app that allows you to choose a handful of templates. You're right tho that earlier versions had way more, way better (and in portrait and landscape layouts).

A while back I started saving a bunch from my Notes 3, 4, and 5, but never finished. If you have access to any of those phones you can open a new S Note file, add a few additional pages, then save it. Duplicate each template as you need them so you always have a blank original. (Someday I'll continue that since all those phones are still in my family.)

Samsung Notes is the watered down version of S Note that first was installed on the Note 7. S Note, from a few years ago, is a rich, full-featured productivity tool. However, the version of S Note offered in both the Google Play store & Galaxy App store no longer has Action Memo as part of it.

Made it into BestBuy today, but the two Note 9's they had to look at were both in "Retail Mode", so if wouldn't let me install anything. Didn't have enough time to stop in VZW - last year their N8's were not in retail mode, so I got to try to install, which didn't work. But I think that I screwed something up that day trying tho.

(Side note, the blue looks like the blue of my N5 to me. The lavender actually doesn't look as pink as photos make it look, maybe because it's more metallic/chrome looking?, but still too girly for me. Tho I would have loved dark purple.)

Coming from the Note 5, I didn't even know they did away with S Note. What I'm more concerned about is if my old Note 5 S Notes will automatically transfer into Samsung Notes on my Note 9 when I log into my Samsung account. I killed the screen on my Note 5 but had some pretty sentimental and important stuff in S Note. Anybody know?
