Bluetooth connection control

Hi All,

Not sure why I can’t figure this one out... my office at home is above the garage. How do I stop my phone from connecting to the car when my wife starts up the car?

There have been times where I have been on the phone and it switched automatically over to the car, or a text message passed down to the car.

I can’t turn off Bluetooth on my phone as I use it with my smart watch.

I have the same problem. But I just switch my phone to speaker until she turns the suv off.

The only thing that “kind of” works is if I set the “favorite” phone for each car to be my wife’s.... this way it sticks with her phone.

If we get into a car together, I just have to manually switch to my phone.

However, there should be a setting on my phone per device not to auto connect. How could someone not have thought of this?
