Just updated my Galaxy note to Ice Cream Sandwich (baseband Version I717CCLF6). Not happy.
One of the features that I use most frequently is now painfully unbearable.
In my contact list I have many phone numbers with ?Wait? ( ; ) added in the number . For example: +1-123-456-7890;12345. The numbers after wait are extensions or international numbers. In gingerbread, when I dialed this number it ask for sending this number. on clicking the OK button to send the extension (example 12345), there was no key pressing tone (extension dialing was silent). With Ice Cream Sandwich, there is a tone that is added. When the extension number is dialed a long string of very loud tone is heard. This is painful to listen. I tried the settings to turnoff the key press tone but nothing works. note that the key tone for extension dial is different from the key tone when you are dialing a number.
This it is a deal breaker for me.
