My headset does not play low-volume sound. In other words it filters out sounds which are lower than a specific intensity.
For example if I want to listen to an audio track in low volume, half of it is filtered out. However increasing the volume will decrease the ratio of left-out parts.
It may seem that the headset has been damaged, but non-problematic test of the headset on a PC controverted this theory.
You might deduce that the phone hardware has been impaired, but using another headset on the phone showed that no such problem exists with other headsets.
