Hello, I need to know is it safe fo flash a Samsung G970U with a G970U1 firmware WITHOUT an Unlocked Bootloader?? Please help me.

Yes you can , just use the files from sammobile ,xda forums,here and use Odin 3.13.1 prince comsey ,might be a newer version of it

Ok download samfirm v0.4.1 tool for the firmware
Then download Odin 3.13.1 prince comsey
Extract the firmware ,samfirm tool,odin
Put the corresponding files in slots in Odin the first 4 20200229_202639.jpeg20200229_202446.jpeg

Another thing is if your phone not sim unlocked this will not unlock the sim , you can flash it and use the unlocked firmware but wont be sim unlocked unless you already have done that .

One last thing, my current firmware code is ATT, would it be OK for me to flash my phone with an XAA (unlocked) firmware? REMEMBER THAT MY PHONE IS BOOTLOADER LOCKED!

Are you sure it won't mess anything up in my phone

I'm positive , I've done this countless times from s7,s8,s9,s10,note10

Yes , all files will be unlocked version

CSC you can use home CSC might save data but not sure when going to unlocked version

It will wipe your phone(factory reset) so back it up first

And you can reverse back if wanted to

I did exactly what you are doing starting from a Verizon version. Changed to a U1 with no issues, get OTA updates, etc. All's good
