what is exndeded network mean on my s20 ultra 5g

my s7 edge that i was useing till like 12:30 today is been changed to my s20 ultra 5g fully unlocked not gotten from a carrier but i got it from bnhphoto

so i need to know what extended network means and why on my s7 edge it says verzion and 4g lte but only LTE on my s20 ultra.

if it matters right now i am not in my home state of where the old phone and account were opened if that matters.

Why is there a problem? Same network just the phones on different software showing it differently.

checked with the checker on the website by putting my imei in and it says will work perfectly fine so what do you think is going on and or is there a way i can force a carrier information update or something

It should support all of Verizon's bands. Are the download speeds you're seeing what you'd expect?

Also, check the APN settings and make sure they're correct for Verizon:

The download speeds even on 4g lte with my old phone things downloaded fast but now small app files do not download the same I feel. I could be wrong

so they just dropped 4g on the new phone top in the notifications?

I have been having the same issues all day, my sim card is not 5G ready, have had it a few years now and speeds of around 44/47mbps using my S9. My Ultra came today and when I first put the card in my data speed went down to 2/3mbps after a lot of playing about with it trying everything I could think of its now getting to around 6/8mbps. When I swap the sim back into the S9 its back up to mid 40s. This is really disappointing this phone is a real let down if I'm honest, will try going to my network provider to see if a new updated 4G card works any better if not then this phone will definitely be going back to Samsung.
