Samsung s3 charging problems

I have a Galaxy S3 and recently it's not charging properly, the battery is draining quickly and every charger I use seems it has a short in it. I've cleaned out the charger port on my s3 and changed the battery several times but nothing is helping. I've also done several virus scans to see if this might be causing the problem but still nothing. :-\

Have you tired a factory rest? Do you play alot of games on your phone?
