When your downgrading a phone that has an update on OTA DON'T enable the WiFi before you've disabled the auto update settings for the device.

The beast is dead, 4.4.2 lives again

Well, honestly i didnt feel any diffrence between 5.0 and 4.4.2 in my S5. Still get 4:30 SOT and 10 hours standby before reaching 15% battery left.

The only slow down that is noticable in my S5 running 5.0 is the app switcher lag. Takes 2-3 sec to show the cards for the first time but then its instant.

I downgraded but then upgraded my S5 again cause i didnt see any diffrence in performance and battery.
