SD CARD underused

Installed 60G SD card and moved all the stuff that I could see to move. Card now has 1.5 G and device has 14.5G. Can I move more stuff to the card, and how?

Samsung and LG make **** poor use of SD cards, and yet they still sell phones with 16GB of internal storage. Because $699 isn't enough apparently.

If you go into the application manager some apps let you install the app on the SD card although it leaves some on the phone its nothing compared to what it moves onto the SD card

And when you update the app, it jumps back to the internal storage.

Yes, I used App Manager and moved everything I could. And yes, updates go to device storage.
