Why isn't USB sync working?

Hey guys. So I am out here in a another place from my home and I was trying to upload some photos I took on my GS6E so I connected it using a another USB cable and the PC didn't recognize my phone (I missed the white cable at home!). Device Manager shows a device called MTP when I connect the phone (Should be Media Transfer Protocol). I tried using the Camera Mode (PTP) but this time it shows SAMSUNG_Android. Can anybody help me with what is going on??

Are you able to try any other USB cables? Also try other USB ports in the computer.

When you connect via USB, do you see a USB connection icon in the notification bar? If so, swipe down, tap the notification, and make sure MTP is selected on the phone.
