How can I transfer game data from old phone to new phone

I've been searching for a way to get game data that is stored on my old phone (instead of online...) and I'm really struggling to find a solution. My old phone is a HTC XL and my new phone is the Galaxy S6. Neither phone is rooted. I've tried Helium, Datasync etc with no luck. I can't find the directory in my old phone for the location of my save files. Can anyone advise me on how to move the files across? The game I'm mainly interested in is Immortals: Blood and Glory, I really dont want to have to restart 3 months worth of work...
Thanks!!

Re: How can I transfer game data from old phone to new phone

Welcome to Android Central! This kind of thing can be very difficult, since even if you find the files, there's no guarantee they'll work on the new device if you simply copy them over. Using a file manager app, look in the /storage/sdcard0/Android/data/ directory, and look for the game's subdirectory. It'll probably have the game title, but it might be labeled using the game developer's name.
