Can I use my Adaptive Fast charger to charge other devices?

I had a M7 and was using my Samsung tabs charger for it..
Now that I have the S6, I'm using the fast charger for it..

I was wondering if I could use the fast charger to charge my tablet and other devices too.
The charger says 9v - 1.67A or 5v -2A. whereas the old one just had the 5V option.

The charger will work fine, it just won't "fast charge" on older devices.
It will just charge normally

The fast charger said 9v soI was a bit confused.
I guess the charger only switches over to that mode if the phone can support it and if not, goes with the 5v 2A option.

Yep. That's exactly what it does.

Well, ive tried the fast charger on my s3, and i gotta say that it charges faster compared to my old charger. Well it even charges faster than the original S3 charger. Thats my experience, but try for yourself
