So myself and parents all just bought new galaxy s6's from Best Buy today. We are with Verizon. Just now my mom received a text from my father asking what her last 4 digits of her ATM card were. I looked at my father's phone and sure it enough it showed it coming from his phone, it said delivered. As I was with him at the time I can confirm he did not send that message. Any help on this matter?
Using the standard texting app. The previous messages in their thread were accurate so it wasn't a new thread. Both my parents had their information transfered over by the lady working at best buy and they went to the Samsung guy and had him install the update to the phone from his computer (update was coming in automatically and instead of letting it run the battery down and use the data they let him take care of it in minutes).
Anyone know how this text could have went through?

This does seem odd. Giving the full exact message text might help identify the issue.

A couple of things I would do are:
- Check which apps have administrative access (search for admin in settings)
- Install an anti-virus app from Google Play and scan everything installed
