Using S6 with a dock

Just upgraded my S4 to an S6 and have been using it with the old dock from the S4. I had to download the Google Clock app to use it as an alarm clock (with display). The problem is if I'm using the phone with Bluetooth and either connect to the dock or remove it from the dock, Bluetooth disconnects and the S6 goes to speakerphone. Does anyone know of a way to prevent this from happening?
