Trigger notification expansion & not the quick settings expansion

Hey,

With the marshmallow S6, now if you continue to slide your finger downwards from the top the "quick settings" will expand to reveal ALL quick settings.

If you have an alert that's a few lines & you want to expand it to see its content, sometimes holding & sliding downwards from the alert will expand it & sometimes it'll just trigger the quick settings expansion :s

Any rule here? am I missing something? tried over & over & it literally seems random

P.S. Am always using 1 finger & not 2.. (even though Samsung removed the 2 fingers gesture with the s6 altogether..)
