Received this case last Friday. Not sure it's worth $40. The back is not truly clear, more like frost.

What do you guys/gals think?

On typical Tech21 cases the entire case is flexible plastic. This case for my S7E, is more rigid, with the exception of the top and bottom where that white Flexshock material is, it if cushiony and flexible.

When holding it, it's very firm.

I've got a spigen case that's clear. I don't remember the model name. The back is hard, but clear, the sides are flexible.

I picked it up a few weeks ago, bsn Amazon sale that was listed on AC.

Those are hybrid cases...typically polycarbonate backs and TPU sides and bumpers. Not a big fan of the frost look but it hides fingerprints better. Tech 21 is pricey I think? I usually look for bargains or perceived value. But if you like it and it provides the amount of protection you want, that's all that matters.

I'm gonna have to go with the OP here. $40?

That buys a lot of beer or gas or diapers or whatever, as well as a much cheaper case.
