First Time Charge

Now there are all sorts of rumours and posts on the interweb about this topic.

Anyone the best thing to do ?

I received my S7 Edge around 7pm last night and proceeded to charge it for an hour - then did the smart switch so it was off charge and then left it on charge over night for 7 hours on fast charge

I normally let it go down to 5% then re-charge and do this 3 times before I just charge it as necessary which is usually daily with my usage

Back in the day you used to have to charge it for 16 hours first charge lol. Just curious

Since 6:00am this morning with a bit of usage I am on 93% still which seems reasonable

Don't have to do this with modern li-on batteries. Shouldn't let it run down below say 40% as that will effect battery performance after a while if you keep on doing it. Plenty on this forum about taking care of your battery.
