Try resetting your camera settings. I did that and it seemed to do the trick. Not sure if it'll stick (as my phone is temperamental about a lot of things), but it seems to be sticking for me now.
I took this picture last evening with my new Galaxy S7. My wife and I were walking along Sunset Cliffs here in San Diego.

If you hold the shutter button it takes pics in burst mode, maybe your not releasing it enough before you try take the next pic.Ladies and Gentlemen:
Question please - why is it that from time to time, i take a picture and, without any reason or warning whatsoever, it simply does it via "burst mode" and the words come out at the bottom of the screen "burst mode pictures will be saved to device memory"??
i'm literally taking 2 or 3 pictures of a similar scene and one of them will do that. again, it's not every single situation, only from time to time, without any warning or reason, seemingly. thanks.
