I have a Galaxy S7 with Nougat 7.0. I was reading some of the threads regarding battery drain times and related issues and I saw the advice regarding "wipe screen partition." Since, I wouldn't lose any stored info in my phone, I decided to try it and wowww. Immediately, I saw a benefit regarding the battery draining down even though I didn't think mine was that bad previously. What I also noticed was that in settings-device maintenance my score is now 100/100. I could never get it above 90/100 before, so apparently I got better optimization now too, so I wanted to say thanks to the guys that posted that info.

Yes, that's the first move is your device is getting buggy, laggy or after software updates. It's a spring clean as it were... Glad it did the job for you! :)
