Why is my Samsung S8+ unresponsive and the force restart method does not work

[Android Central Question]

I was using my phone to text someone, and the phone was fully charged at 100%. I put dkwn the phone for a while, and when I picket it up to use it again, the phone had become unresponsive. It woukd not respond to charging or the force restart, and has been like that for two days

Welcome to Android Central! It's an almost 6 year old phone, so this is the time when failures start to occur. Hopefully you were backing up or syncing your important data on a regular basis.
