I have a brand new Galaxy S8, and when I enter settings, and use the internal settings-search function to find a specific setting, it takes an annoyingly long time. For example, if I enter the letters "NOTI", then the thinking circle starts to spin, and it takes somewhere around 2 seconds before I get a list of all the settings with the letters NOTI. (check attached screenshot to see what I mean)
At first I thought it took so long because the phone has to look through the whole storage space and search for specific files, but when I use a file-manager-app, like My Files, and enter the letters "NOTI", then I get immediate results the instance I enter each new letter.
I've talked to some people who claim that this delay in settings-search is not on their phones, which makes me suspect that maybe it's so slow because I have enabled a specific search setting?
This is only a slight annoyance and the phone works perfect otherwise, but I would still love to figure out what is the cause.
