WiFi Calling Option Keeps Disabling Itself

I just moved to an area with crappy cell reception. I have AT&T and I'll pull down the notification shade and enable WiFi calling and at least once or twice a day the option disables itself. It should stay on even if I leave the wifi area until I get back into a WIFI area. Any thoughts?

Mine turns off at work because the wifi signal is weaker (upstairs). My home wifi is strong so it stays on at home

Same as this, when at work with spotty WiFi it drops

I have the same problem. not sure why but it does turn off intermittently.

My WiFi at home is strong, but I find that WiFi calling turns itself off at random times, even when I do not leave the house.

I have also been having this issue lately with my ATT S8+ although it hasn't been as bad for the last couple of days. Seems to me that this issue is fairly widespread.

Do you have the unlocked version? If so, read the following forum post on AT&T's website.

I mentions that unlocked phones are not allowed to use WiFi calling with AT&T.

Ok, you should probably talk to AT&T.

It seems to be a problem with other phones too, not just the S8/S8+.
