T-Mobile Galaxy S8 No notifications with new router?

Hi;

I set up a new router at home and do not receive notifications of e-mail, etc. when at that location.

But, they are there when I open my email app. on the phone.

When I am at another location I do receive them.

What do I need to change on my phone/router to be able to get them?

The phone should be exempted from battery saving, it should be allowed to do background data and, of course, it should have set up as an IMAP account. The router should be pretty passive when it comes to notifications - if the server sends them, the router should pass them to the phone.

I'm at work and receiving notifications.
At other location they have not been popping up.
I thought that maybe the new router was blocking them due to issues with port forwarding,etc.
I thought that my old router had an administrative page that showed access by phones, gadgets,etc.
I need to spend more time going through the administrative set up on the router to see if I find any other settings.

Do you have Do Not Disturb turned on, perhaps correlating with the times when you're at home?

Thank you for the suggestion.
I do use dnd at night and have favorites set up to come through at all times.
But dnd off the rest of the time.
I will continue to look deeper.
