For example, on Instagram, i have it set to show as popup. But the notifications never popup. How do I fix this?

Apps on these lists will not show notifications if the app isn't open and in the foreground. In the background it's disabled. I have S25. I do get popup notifications for all other apps. Only happening with Instagram. I have all categories for notifications turned on.

I may have phrased the notification question poorly.

Do you get notifications for Instagram at all? Do they show up in your notifications shade/pull down, but just no popup notification is what I was asking, I could have phrased that better.

In the meantime, I asked Google about this and it looks like it is giving the same answers we've already talked about but then suggests reaching out to Instagram devs. for more specific who may have other insight.

I do get notifications but not popups even though I have it enabled.
