Verizon Galaxy S8 Set Tone for Google Reminders

Hey Guys,
I am stumped. I can say "OK Google, remind me to call home at 10AM" and the google assistant will set a reminder for that. However, at 10am, I get no notification tone or vibrate. Just a note in the notification shade. And if I look at my reminders, they are in there. I have tried every volume setting and notification type I can find. I even added vibrate and it it doesn't vibrate either. All my other apps work just find with both tones and vibrate. Any suggestions other than setting an alarm?

If you go to the Google app settings and go into the Notifications one, is the 'Reminders' channel active? Is it set to vibrate/make a sound?
