Should I get a new Nano SIM card for my soon to arrive unlocked Galaxy S9?

I was looking around different forums and I keep hearing that the unlocked S8 had an "LTE+" designation in the top right hand corner next to the signal strength meter. My SIM card is about 5 years old. Do I need a new SIM card and/or different APN settings to allow for LTE+ on my Galaxy S9 (which I assume is LTE Advanced (channel bonding))?

Now I know that some things such as WiFi calling and VoLTE won't work on my unlocked version though hopefully it supports all the bands that AT&T uses.

Thanks everyone.

If the card is a nanoSIM, or a microSIM that can be snapped off to nano size, you can try it. But in years with AT&T, they never charged me for a SIM - even if I didn't ask for one (I once asked for a full-size adapter for my microSIM while my phone was in for repair - they just gave me a new SIM - free). So just ask. (If the store won't work with you, find out where your Device Support Center is - and ask there.)
