Hey folks, I've been experiencing an issue whereby my Bluetooth connection drops out after every software update or installation. Once the update or install has completed, it will drop whatever Bluetooth connections are active and force me to manually re-connect whatever device I was just using (i.e. headphones, car, etc.).

I know I could just schedule all updates to happen during sleeping hours blah blah, but this is a workaround and not a solution.

Anyone experiencing the same issue? I keep searching around the internet, but haven't seen anyone yet with a similar issue.

Any ideas? I've rebooted multiple times, tried various settings to no avail.
This has been happening with multiple versions of android, currently running 8.0.0 patch level October 1, 2018.

thanks in advance.

Yes, after an update, you may need to reestablish connections that were properly configured before the update. Also a good idea to clear the cache partition and reboot. It's a computer that makes phone calls, and you're updating an operating system. Updates are infrequent, consider it maintenance.
