My child's galaxy kids tablet has lock bcuz they tried to enter the incorrect pin too many times.

My child's galaxy kids tablet has lock because they tried to enter the incorrect pin too many times and it locked us out... it is now asking for my gmail acct and password. I do but it's not doing anything and everything is correct, what else can I do to unlock it without the need to reset it?:-\

Are you certain that the gmail login and password are for the Google account in the tab?

If so, go to Android Device Manager, find the tab and change the password. Then you should be able to open it and change it to a pin, password or whatever you like.
