How can I make the Polaris the default program?

Hancom Office viewer

I've downloaded, from the Play Store, Polaris so I can edit Word documents. I've transferred the files from my desktop to my tablet. When I try to open the document, the default is Hancom Office viewer. I need to edit the documents and want to use Polaris.

Is there any way I can make Polaris the default program? I've tried downloading (save as) the files straight to the tablet, but that won't work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Settings, aplications, default aplications. Clear Hancom Office. Then open a word or whatever file you need and a popup will ask you which app you want to use to open the file, underneath you will see the option for "Open with" "Just Once" "Always" choosing Always will make it the default application for that type of file. Repeat for every file type.
