Touch screen bug?

Every so often my tablets touch screen becomes unresponsive and i have to put it into sleep mode then wake it for it to work again. During those times, the screen rotation works. But capacitive buttons, and the touch screen wont.

Any ideas?

You have looked over the various Display Settings on the DEVICE tab under Main Settings? There's a "touch sensitivity" and the "smart stay" and screen timeout.

So the screen is still on? And you are actively using it and suddenly it does not respond? How old? It might be a hardware defect and covered by warranty. Does it happen with any particular app running?

Yeah, I went through all the settings.

The touch screen was becoming unresponsive in a plethora of apps. It was strange, because the home button worked, as well as the auto rotate feature. I wound up just sending it back to Samsung for them to look at.
